Where do I start. I got this recommendation from a friend that has used Captain Dan in the past. I took two girls, ages 9 and 11 along with myself out for a half day. We asked for the "go big" versus the "catch a lot" approach. In three hours we had 6 sharks (lemon and nurse) and 2 groupers on the line with lots of guidance and support from the captain. All said, 3 sharks, 1 grouper, and I'll tell you one heck of a grouper on the line for 30 minutes that got away at the end. I've done 4 other "dream catch" providers in Key West over the last 10 years and this one is beyond words. I would 1000% do this one again. Girls had a blast and each caught a shark that was nearly twice their side. Beyond words on the morning.

Captain Dan was unfortunately under the weather for our trip, but no worries—Captain Todd took us out and we had an amazing time chasing trophy sharks. Definitely a trip to remember! Thanks to both Captain Dan and Todd. Next time we’re in town, we’ll be sure to look them up and hope to chase some goliath grouper.

The captain was incredibly friendly, offered drinks, and was very knowledgeable about anything we asked. We had a fantastic time and caught some great fish. There wasn’t a single dull moment on the water!

I can’t recommend Daniel highly enough. With a private charter, you get full attention, and Daniel is skilled, knowledgeable, and works hard to deliver results. We had such a great experience that we booked again just two days later.

My wife and I had an amazing day on the water and caught a ton of fish, including an 8’ lemon shark, a 90lb grouper, three types of snapper, and a barracuda! The captain was very laid-back and knowledgeable, making the trip both fun and effortless. We had a fantastic time!

Captain Dan couldn’t have been more accommodating. He put us on fish right away. Caught shark, grouper, and our limit for snapper. After cleaning our catch he took us to where we could have it prepared for us. There are so many fishing guides to choose from, in KW, I feel that we got lucky picking Key West fishing connection. My son and I not only had a great experience, we feel that we made a new friend. Can’t wait to do it again, Dan! Thanks for everything.
