We had an awesome trip with Captain Daniel! He was very flexible with scheduling, and we enjoyed nonstop action throughout the day catching Snapper, Grouper, and Shark. Highly recommend booking a trip with him!

Captain Dan took my wife, mom, and me out for a 3-hour sunset shark trip, and it will be a lifelong memory. We didn’t quite know what to expect when we decided to go shark fishing, but we had action the entire time. As someone who asks a lot of questions, I really appreciated how kind and knowledgeable Dan was while answering them all. I’ve been on a few charters before, but this is one I would recommend to anyone visiting the Florida Keys!

I’m an outdoorsman from Wisconsin, and I live to hunt and fish with my kids. On our family vacation to the Keys, we booked a half-day shark trip with Captain Dan, and it was by far the best fishing experience of my life. From the moment we got to our spot, we had nonstop action for four hours on Blacktip and Blacknose sharks, landing 11 of 16 and often having multiple on at once. These sharks were up to 80 lbs! We booked another half-day with Captain Dan, starting with snapper for bait and the cooler. Then we switched to shark rods—again, constant action, but this time the sharks were huge. We caught 3 Lemon sharks, a Nurse shark, and a Goliath Grouper. The sharks were all over 8’ long and 250 lbs, and the grouper pushed 500 lbs! I’ve caught plenty of muskies and salmon, but these sharks made them feel like minnows. Captain Dan is extremely knowledgeable, fun to fish with, and made both trips unforgettable. I can’t wait to go back—he has my highest recommendation!

Captain Dan was an awesome guide! He knew everything about the fish and sharks and picked the perfect spot. Every line we dropped got a bite, and we landed several sharks! We’ll definitely be back to do this trip again!

My wife, our two kids, and I had never been fishing before, but Daniel was incredible with us. He took us to a stunning spot and guided us through everything we needed to know. On our very first cast, we landed a 5-ft shark, and over the trip we caught at least 10 more big sharks! We all got hands-on experience catching, handling, and releasing sharks, plus some amazing photos. So glad we booked—if we return to the Keys, we’ll definitely fish with him again. My son is already insisting we come back for his birthday after a 10-hour flight and 3-hour drive from London! 😂

Where do I start. I got this recommendation from a friend that has used Captain Dan in the past. I took two girls, ages 9 and 11 along with myself out for a half day. We asked for the "go big" versus the "catch a lot" approach. In three hours we had 6 sharks (lemon and nurse) and 2 groupers on the line with lots of guidance and support from the captain. All said, 3 sharks, 1 grouper, and I'll tell you one heck of a grouper on the line for 30 minutes that got away at the end. I've done 4 other "dream catch" providers in Key West over the last 10 years and this one is beyond words. I would 1000% do this one again. Girls had a blast and each caught a shark that was nearly twice their side. Beyond words on the morning.

Captain Dan was unfortunately under the weather for our trip, but no worries—Captain Todd took us out and we had an amazing time chasing trophy sharks. Definitely a trip to remember! Thanks to both Captain Dan and Todd. Next time we’re in town, we’ll be sure to look them up and hope to chase some goliath grouper.
